IHS Student Wins Big at EESA!

Congratulations to Sravya Nagalakunta of grade 12 Science B on winning the 2nd place at The Environmental Excellence School Award EESA organized by Bee’ah in the ‘Best Environmental’ Mobile Application category.

She got a cash prize of AED 8000/- for her app, “Code Green”. Students were encouraged to be innovative in technology and deliver their environmental message creatively by designing a mobile application. “Code Green” is an app aligned with Vision 2021, aimed at promoting and educating the student body about sustainability.

Now in its 11th cycle the competition has grown extensively and students from more than 400 schools across the UAE participated. EESA aims to challenge and encourage students to find creative and innovative solutions to the environmental challenges of today.
