IHS wins 1st Place in the Inter-school Quiz Competition on “India@75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”
Our team of Tejas Harish Kumar (Gr.7L), Pratik Dhalwani (Gr.8N), Martina Naomi (Gr.9E), and Rose Vincent (Gr.10E) brought us glory by winning the competition after a tough fight! 25 schools participated of which 6 schools went to the Semi-finals. The Final round had 4 schools in it.
As part of the "India@75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" the Consulate General of India, Dubai in association with the Indian High School, Dubai organized the quiz competition. The Inter-school Quiz Competition, aimed at creating awareness about our great heroes and martyrs of the freedom struggle by recalling for the student community, the glorious moments of the historic struggle.
The Elimination round was conducted on April 7th and the Semi-final and Final round took place on May 18th, 2021 at the Oud Metha campus.
We were honoured to have H.E. Consul General of India, Dubai, Dr. Aman Puri as our Chief Guest, our esteemed Hon. Chairman, Girish Jethwani graced the occasion and Murali Krishnan, a keen quizzer, was our Quiz Master.
