IHS Student wins the Prestigious Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance

Abarnaa Sai.V of grade 5 of the Oud Metha campus has won the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Student in grade 3-5 category in the 23rd Cycle 2020-21. Abarnaa is a passionate green activist and has worked from age 6 as an active member of the Emirates Environment Group and she has actively participated in their annual tree planting events. She has been in a leadership role and participated in the Environment Club at the Indian High School, Primary Garhoud campus from grade 3 onwards. She was an active Student Council member and Leader in grade 3 and grade 4. She has also won several accolades including gold medals in Math, Science, Cyber and English Olympiads.
