IHS Star Swimmer at Olympic Qualifiers

Tanish George Mathew, of grade 11, represented India at the recently concluded FINA Olympic Swimming Qualifying Competitions in Belgrade Trophy 2021 at Belgrade, Serbia and Sette Colli Trophy 2021 at Rome, Italy.

At Belgrade, he won 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. At Sette Colli Trophy 2021 - ROMA, Italy, which is considered the most prestigious FINA event witnessing participation from most of the Olympic qualified swimmers, Tanish participated in two events 200m Freestyle and 200m Butterfly.

Though in Italy, Tanish missed Olympic 'B' qualification by 0.09 sec, he performed exceptionally well and was highly appreciated. Tanish is the youngest swimmer from India to reach this stage.

This one is another accolade in his already overflowing treasure chest. We wish him luck for his future victories.
